1 room in a 3 bedroom/1 bath apartment sharehouse in HBC literally a couple houses up from Bonny's and the GS25 convenience store.
Room furnished with a super single bed, wardrobe, desk, chair, blackout curtains, and lamp. Shared kitchen, living room, bathroom. Fully furnished kitchen with gas stove and an oven! Living room has a big AC that does a pretty good job of keeping the house cool in summer. The whole place has floor heating to stay nice and warm in winter. The kitchen and living room are quite spacious, especially compared to similar apartments nearby.
Pictures are genuine: Took them with my phone; nothing misleading, no filter
Unbeatable location in HBC: 10 min to Itaewon, 25 min to Gangnam, 15 minutes to Myeongdong/Euljiro/Jongno, 30 minutes to Hongdae. No steep hills and very central location within HBC.
Tons of great restaurants and bars within walking distance! Very close to the action, but far enough that it’s not loud.
Great transportation: A few minutes walk from Subway Line 6 (Noksapyeong Station), buses 421, 740, 110A, and 110B, Yongsan 02 and 03 local buses, buses 143, 401, and 406, buses 9007 and 9007-1, and buses 402 and 405. By Yongsan 02 bus which stops right in front of the house, you can get to Subway Line 6 (Noksapyeong) in less than 5 minutes and Line 4 (Sookmyung Women’s University) or Line 1 (Namyeong) in 10-15 minutes.
Relaxed house rules: you can be yourself as long as you’re not doing anything illegal.
One of the rooms is occupied by an American guy in his 30s who has been living in Seoul for 10+ years, and the other room is occupied by a Pakistani guy who has been here 15+ years. Both are friendly and enjoy good food and drink.
