Job Description
Welcome to GLOW English Academy! We are a growing, vibrant English school located in Bupyeong gu. We teach a combination of a CCSS reading textbook along with our own in-house phonics program.
We are looking for both a FT and a PT teacher in anticipation of our student enrollment increasing. Our students are mostly young, so for both positions a female teacher is preferred.
Candidates MUST BE in South Korea with all documents ready to go-apostilled diploma, CBC, health check.
The starting salaries for the FT position which is from 9:30-6:30 Monday to Friday is 1.8-2.0 million. Benefits are of course provided--single housing, pension/health insurance 50/50 split, severance and if you so choose lunch at the school is provided.(For experienced candidates, salary negotiation is possible) There are 5 weekdays in the summer and in the winter as paid vacation.
For the PT position, the work hours are from 1:30-6:30 Monday to Friday. As this is a PT position only 3.3% tax will be deducted. The work hours are from 1:30-6:30 Monday to Friday. Starting salary is 1.2-1.4 million/month.
Again, the school may be willing to negotiate with experienced teachers.
