Role and Responsibilities:
IN Language Institute is seeking qualified and professional candidates to serve as an Elementary School ESL teacher. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, patient and work well with young children, some of whom are just beginning to learn English. A good teacher for this position would be flexible, organized, and has a positive attitude.
You will be responsible for the following:
Teach English to children in Elementary School
Create a fun and engaging supplementary activities for students
Grade basic homework assignments and write up report cards on student progress
Attend meetings with parents that will be conducted in Korean
Position: Full-Time Elementary School Teacher
Start Date: Anytime
Location: Gangnam-gu, Seoul
Working Hours: (M-F) 1:40pm - 9:40pm and (Sat) 10:00am - 5pm
Age Level: Elementary (Grades 1-6)
English Level: Basic to Intermediate
Salary and Benefits
Salary: From 2.5 Million KRW (Negotiable Upon Experience)
Insurance and Financial: Will be matched by employer
Contract Completion Bonus: Provided upon completion of one year contract
Vacation: Total 10 days off and Korean National Holidays.
Housing: Housing is NOT Provided
Candidate Qualifications:
4 year Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
Must be a citizen from: the USA, Canada, the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, or South Africa
F-series visas or Korean citizens who are fluent in English
Must be of an intermediate level or higher in Korean

We're located in the Daechi area of the Gangnam district which is one of the most popular areas in all of Seoul! In the area there are a variety of cafes, restaurants and shops to explore. It is only a few minutes away by bus or subway to Gangnam station where there is a larger variety of restaurants, shops and you can see a piece of Seoul nightlife.
