Job Description
1. Roles and Responsibilities
Saint Paul Academy Daechi is seeking a middle-high school vice-principal/assistant principal at Spring 2022 or Fall 2023. Vice-principal ensures that there is reliable communication and lead representation at the level of discipline.
The ideal candidate who has good communication skills also will be influential, enthusiastic, patient, and work well with students and teachers as one of the representatives of the institution. An optimal vice president for this position would be flexible, organized, and has a charismatic and positive attitude.
2. Responsibilities
Assist school principal
Proctor and interview potential new students and advising the administration
Work on an action plan with teachers to improve overall performance and conduct as necessary
Conduct PTC (Parent-Teacher-Conference) 4 per year
Monitor and report on teacher performance
Oversee day to day school operations
Organize school events and assemblies
Meet and counsel teachers on strategies to improve lessons to improve
Organize and lead monthly assemblies and weekly teacher meetings
Provide guidance and counseling to teachers
Monitor and report on teacher performance, Perform formal teacher evaluations
Check teachers’ lesson plans to ensure that they are linked to the Common Core standards and are fulfilling the school curriculum
Fill in as a substitute for teachers on an as-needed basis
Approve all comments and grades submitted by teachers on report cards
Approve all midterm and final exams submitted by teachers
Collaborate with the administration on Parent Orientation
3. Candidate Qualifications
Foreigners (F-2, F-4, F-5, F-6 Visa Holders)
• Candidates who can teach Language art subjects and must have a native level fluency in English
• Candidates must hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree in education from US and/or
and a secondary teaching certificate /
or Master's degree in Education from US
• Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a vice-principal
or headteacher position at an international school
Necessary Documents
• Candidates must have their diploma apostilled and federal level background check with a federal level apostille ready to go
4. Working Conditions
Working Hours: Weekday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
Teaching Hours: Depends on classes that need to be covered
Grade Level: Grade 8-12
5. Salary and Benefits
Salary: Negotiable based on the experience and qualifications
Training: Provides training for knowledge and skills to be successful and help to gain knowledge on current educational trends (College trends)

Vacation: 20 days + Korean National Holidays
