Our firm, Vision Edu Partners, is looking for a qualified candidate to join our expert team of college admissions consultants. Simply put, we help high school students maximize their chances of getting accepted to US colleges. Other job opportunities may surface after a few years of experience, but for now, we are looking for excellent writers and researchers. Any display of wit, brio, or the ability to engage your readers is a definite plus.
The company offers a flex-time policy after a probationary period. After this period, you will have the autonomy that no "9 to 6 jobs at Korean companies" or "teaching jobs at the hagwons" could offer.
We also offer high-earning potential for qualified consultants. First-year consultants typically make 36-50 million KRW depending on extra commission. Because we give generous annual raises, most of our former employees have earned somewhere between 48-100 million KRW within 2-4 years.
Here are the qualities the company is looking for in a consultant:
-Bachelor's and/or Master's degree (Bachelor’s from U.S. university highly preferred)
-Mastery of English
-Proficiency in Korean (business level)
-Strong writing and editing skills (creative, non-fiction, and expository)
-Strong interpersonal skills and service-oriented mindset
-Admissions consulting experience is a plus, but not required
This is a full-time position, but unlike hagwons, housing is not provided. Visa is not provided in most cases but we do have exceptions. You will also be classified as a 용역계약자, not 정규직. You must be able to overcome intense pressure (this is no joke) during the busy season. However, there is very little work during the idle period (typically January through March, but varies according to job position).
