Job Description
BC Collegiate(Seocho Edu) is seeking a passionate and experienced educator to serve in the role of (Vice)Principal. Applications are invited for the above continuing full-time position to commence ASAP. The (Vice)Principal plays a key leadership role as a member of the School Team. It is dedicated to meeting the academic, artistic, athletic, cultural and social emotional needs of all learners.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated:
▪ Active involvement in and demonstrated progress toward Reconciliation.
▪ Proven ability to establish respectful working relationships with student, parents and staff.
▪ A reputation as a highly effective instructional leader in improving learning success for all students.
▪ Understanding and application of formative assessment practices.
▪ Success leading classrooms and schools in data informed instruction.
▪ Ability to lead progressive systems, which provide innovative learning experiences for students.
▪ Knowledge and experience using technology to enhance learning.
▪ Continuous inquiry and professional learning for self and others.
▪ Ability to support a positive, cooperative, safe, orderly and caring school environment.
▪ Demonstrated respect for diversity.
▪ A fundamental belief that all learners can achieve at a high level.
▪ Highly successful experience as a Principal, Vice Principal or Teacher Leader.
▪ Success in continuing to challenge themselves and grow as a leader in education.
▪ A graduate degree in Education, with a focus on leadership or curriculum and instruction.
