Hello! Cornerstone Collegiate Academy of Seoul (CCAS) is a small U.S accredited K-12 international school located in Yangjae and Jamsil, Seoul. Starting date: January 15-17 (ideally), semester begins in late January
Summary: In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing engaging and effective lesson plans, instructing students in their teaching subjects, assessing students' academic performance, and fostering a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will be deeply committed to nurturing the academic and personal growth of their students, while demonstrating expertise in their subject area.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
Deliver engaging, interactive, and challenging lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
Evaluate students' progress regularly through assignments, quizzes, and exams, providing constructive feedback.
Employ various teaching methods and educational tools to enhance student engagement and comprehension.
Manage classroom behavior to ensure a conducive learning environment, fostering respect and mutual understanding among students.
Regularly communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress and behavior, as well as potential issues or concerns.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, discuss students' needs, and coordinate teaching efforts.
Contract Details
Duration of contract: 1 year (renewable)
Working hours: Monday to Friday (8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.)
Teaching hours: 20 ~ 25 teaching hours/week

Salary
Competitive salary based on your education and teaching experience
Benefits
- Paid vacation (total 8 weeks) in addition to all national holidays + sick days
- Severance pay (equivalent to a month’s salary) will be given after the completion of a one-year contract.
- Korean 4 national insurances- medical insurance and national pension will be co-shared (50/50 split).
- If you begin working between January 15-17, you will participate in a one-week school-wide orientation before the semester begins.
