Job Description
Hello. We are Korea International Christian School, located in Incheon/Seoul, South Korea. We believe that nurturing children in the Lord is a divine mission for the next generation and we educate with love. We are looking for teachers who align with our mission.
✅RESPONSIBILITIES
▪️ We are looking for teachers who can educate students with professional knowledge.
▪️ We seek teachers who can educate with a sense of responsibility and love for students.
▪️ We are looking for teachers with rich experience in teaching and the ability to meet students at their level.
▪️ We need teachers who can work well with the school principal, other teachers, and staff, and who can actively participate in educational activities and programs.
✅WORKING CONDITION
1. Contract Period: August 29, 2024 – August 28, 2025
(The contract is for one year, with the school year starting on August 29. Please note that there will be a teacher training period before the school year begins.)
2. Teaching Hours: Full-time job, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
(From August 16 to August 28, there is a camp period. If mutually agreed, you may teach SAT/TOEFL and other subjects full-time or part-time during the camp.)
3. Qualifications:
▪️ We are looking for Korean teachers with educational expertise and proficiency in English studied in the U.S., or foreign teachers with educational expertise.
▪️ Preference will be given to those with a master’s or doctoral degree.
▪️ Preference will be given to those with a teaching certificate.
▪️ We require at least 2 years of experience teaching students.
▪️ We seek individuals with deep knowledge of their teaching subjects and a well-structured understanding of their subject matter.
4. SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS must submit:
▪️ Diploma with Apostille
▪️ FBI criminal background check with Apostille (within 6 months) from the U.S. or issued by RCMP in Canada, and it should be notarized by the Canadian Embassy/Consulate.
