1. Roles and Responsibilities
Wonders English Academy is looking for qualified candidates to serve as a Part-time Speech Contest teacher. You will be responsible for helping students prepare for speech contests throughout the academic year. A good candidate will have good presentation and public speaking skills.
You will be responsible for the following:
Help students develop their public speaking skills
Brainstorm with the students and help them prepare and edit their speeches
Provide feedback regarding their eye contact, gesturing, and overall presentation
Help students with pronunciation and enunciation
Help students with critical thinking skills
2. Candidate Qualifications
F-series Visa Holders:
We are currently taking applications from F-series visa holders as well
MUST have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
MUST have a native level fluency in English
MUST have experience teaching speech classes
3. Visa Sponsorships
We DO NOT provide a visa sponsorship as this is a part-time position
4. Working Conditions
Contract Length: 1-year
Working Hours: Saturdays from 10 AM-2 PM (10-minute break time at 12PM)
Lunch Time: Will not be provided
Students per Class: 8 maximum
Age Level: 7-13 years old
5. Salary & Benefits
Salary: 40,000 won per hour
