Job Description
1. Roles and Responsibilites
Sorgo Arts School is looking for qualified candidates to serve as a Kindergarten homeroom teacher. As a teacher at Sorgo you will be working with students from 4-7 years old. You will be be teaching English through a variety of hands-on arts classes which include lessons on drawing, painting, and arts and crafts.
You will be responsible for:
Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons
Prepare teaching materials ahead of time
Grade regular homework assignments
Track and report students’ performance date and give feedback
2. Candidate Qualifications
We are not hiring those outside of Korea
E-2 Visa Holders:
We are NOT taking E-2 visa holders
F-series Visa holders
We are taking applications from F-4 visa holders ONLY
Korean Citizens
We are taking applications from Korean citizens who are fluent in English
3. Visa Sponsorships
We DO NOT provide E-2 visas
4. Working Conditions
Working Hours: 10 AM - 4 PM
Age Level: 4-7 years old
5. Salary and Benefits
Salary: From 1.8 Million KRW
Contract Completion Bonus: Provided upon completion of a one-year contract
Vacation: 2 weeks plus Korean National Holiday
Housing: Housing or housing allowance will not be provided
