Job Description
1. Duties and Responsibilities
Teaching IB history and organizing classes
Attending teacher meeting and relevant meetings
Supporting and organizing extracurricular activities of students in school
Creating exam materials and supervising examinations
Supporting student life, such as proctoring for self-study
Performing tasks as instructed by the principal
Supporting the ethos and mission of the school
2. Working condition
Starting date: August 1, 2020 ~ July 31, 2021
Contract duration: Yearly renewable contract
Teaching hours: 16~20hours (5days in a week)
Working hours: 07:40~16:30
Monthly salary: KRW 2.8 million~3.4 million
(negotiable, it may vary according to experience)
Housing fee: KRW 450,000 provided (monthly)
3. Hiring qualifications
DPC experience would be an advantage
At least 1 year of professional teaching experience, at the specific grade level and subject area of our vacancy in an accredited high school setting
A bachelor’s degree in the subject area (a master’s degree would be an advantage)
English native speaker level(Native speaker preffered)
Valid teaching certificate from an accredited teacher education program (preferred)
Familiarity with current teaching materials and methodologies, as well as evidence of recent professional development
Familiarity with a collaborative working environment
