Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
As a teacher at RISE, you’ll be teaching kindergarten to elementary students. Our students learn English through literature and hands-on activities.
Teach phonics, pronunciation, and basic reading and writing skills
Sing, dance, roleplay, and create art with students
Help students develop critical thinking skills through fiction and non-fiction books
Guide students through persuasion and debate exercises
Follow a textbook and syllabus for easy lesson prep
Add your own activities to help students learn better
Meet learning goals and track student improvement
Grade simple homework and write semester report cards using our easy online software
Work with your co-teacher to prepare fun lessons

Start Date: August 27
Location: Hanam, Gyeonggi-do
Working Hours: 9:10 AM to 6:10 PM
Teaching Hours: 30 hours per week
Overtime: None
Students per Class: 12 (Max)
Age Level: Kindergarten to Elementary
English Level: basic, conversational, intermediate, upper-intermediate
Salary and Benefits
Salary: From 2.2 Million KRW~
Insurance and Financial: Insurance and pension are matched by the employer

Vacation: 10 days + National Korean Holidays
Housing: Furnished Officetel (included: A/C and heating, fridge, microwave, stovetop, washing machine, table, chair, bed, and comforter/douvet)

Candidate Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Must be a citizen from: U.S.A., Canada, the U.K., Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, or South Africa
Experience with young children or TEFL/TESOL certification
Special Notice: Instructors who are currently abroad must come 14 days before the start date to undergo quarantine.

We've just opened up our new branch in Hanam, which is a suburban area close to Lotte Tower. Hanam is known for Starfield Hanam, which is a modern and unique shopping mall that includes LED basketball courts, trampoline parks, rock wall climbing, an indoor spa, a rooftop pool, and fancy movie theaters. We're close to the subway and busses, so you can get into Seoul within 30 minutes.
