Job Description
1. Role and Responsibilities
As a kindy and elementary teacher at CLS, you will be responsible for teaching English to young learners through a variety of special classes including Language Arts, Speech Contest/Show and Tell, Play Facto, Explatory Class, Craft and Drawing, Action and Play, Cooking Class, and Group Project. Teachers are usually responsible for specific grades.
Teach basic to advanced reading, writing, listening, speaking, and grammar to students
Teach hands-on subject classes - not just English!
Teach phonics, speech, vocab, language arts, science and social studies, debate, TOEFL/SAT prep, newspaper review, and book discussion
Follow American curriculum and create supportive lesson plans based on our curriculum
Grade homework, reports, and essays
Update parents regarding student progress
2. Working Conditions
Position: Kindy and Elementary Teacher
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 1 Year
Location: Yeongdeungpo, Seoul
Working Hours: M-F, 8:10 AM-5:10 PM OR 9 AM to 6 PM (1-hour lunchtime included)
Teaching Hours: 3:40 PM~5:10 or 6 PM (depends on the classes you are assigned)
Class Time: 1 hour 30 minutes
Student Age Range: Age 5 to Elementary Grade 6
Classes: Language Arts, Speech Contest/Show and Tell, Play Facto, Explatory Class, Craft and Drawing, Action and Play, Cooking Class, Group Project
3. Salary and Benefits
Salary: 2.4~2.7 Million KRW (based on experience)
Contract Completion Bonus: Yes
Insurance and Financial: Insurance and pension are matched by the employer, round-trip airfare

Bachelor's degree
Native English teachers from the following countries: U.S.A., Canada, the U.K., Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa
5. Our Location
We're located in Yeungdeungpo, which is in the center of Seoul on Yeouido Island. Yeouido is located right next to the Han River and you can enjoy eathing chicken and beer at the Yeouido Han River Park, which is a hotspot in Seoul. You can easily get up to trendy Hongdae and also Myeongdong Shopping Street as well as Dongdaemun.
6. CLS (Children's Language School)
At CLS, we help kindergarten and elementary students learn English through immersive, hands-on classes based on inquiry-based learning. Students receive a well-balanced education based on play, friendship and teamwork, and creative arts and music.
