Job Description
1. Role and Responsibilities
As a kindergarten and elementary teacher at Hillside Collegiate, you will teach a variety of subjects in English to kindergarten students in the morning and elementary students in the afternoon.
Teach basic to advanced English reading, writing, speaking, and listening
Teach a variety of topics including ELA, basic math, basic science, basic social studies, and P.E.
Guide students through a variety of subjects
Follow a set North American curriculum to help children learn
Grade homework and give feedback
Provide progress reports for parents
2. Candidate Qualifications
Must currently be in Korea on an E-2, F-2, or F-6 visa
Must be a citizen from the U.S.A.. Canada, the U.K., Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, or South Africa
Must have a teacher’s license
3. Visa Sponsorship
We provide E-2 visa sponsorship. We are only accepting E-2, F-2, or F-6 visa applicants.
4. Job Overview
Working Hours: M-F, 8 AM-5 PM
Student Age Level: Kindergarten to elementary students (Age 5 to lower elementary)
5. Salary and Benefits
Salary: From 2.5 Million KRW~
Insurance and Financial: Insurance and pension will be matched by the employer
Contract Completion Bonus: Provided upon completion of contract
Vacation: 15 Days (Chuseok, 1 week for Christmas, 1 week for summer break, and Lunar New Year)
Housing: Provided
