Job Description
P & E English, established in 2006, is an established English Academy which is located in Chungdam-dong (Near Chungdam Subway Station Line 7). There are a maximum of six students in class so that it is easier for instructors to manage their classes and allows each pupil to have more interaction with their teachers. Our students are generally English kindergarten graduates and have above average English skills. We are looking for a professional, passionate, and warm-hearted Gyopo teacher who is skillful with elementary and middle school students.
Please refer to the following for the openings:
Part-time: teaching Phonics from kindergarteners to 1st graders
Tues./ Thur.: 4:00 ~ 6:00 (4 hours/week, possibly more intensive classes in Jan. & Feb. and full-time in March 2021 according to performance)
Pay: from 25,000~35,000 KRW hourly.
Full-time: teaching North American curriculums
Working hours: 41 hours/week
Mon./Fri. 2:00~9:30
Wed. 12:30~6:30
Tues./Thurs. 2:00~10:00
Pay: 2.5 mil to 3.5 mill KRW depending on qualifications and experiences.
Severance pay after a successful completion of contract, a paid vacation, and national health insurance
Descriptions:
Teach North American elementary and middle school curriculum to elementary and middle school students.
Subjects: Novel Reading, Writing, Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Debate, test prep classes such as ibt TOEFL, ISEE, SSAT, and ACT
Prepare for classes, fill out report cards for students, and consult parents once a semester (6 months) in person or on the phone.
Part-time (teaching math to international school students in English)
Working hours:
Pay: from 25,000~35,000 KRW hourly.
Descriptions:
Plan, develop and execute lessons that reflect the curriculum of the core educational standards.
Experience teaching Math at elementary to middle & high school students
Adapt mathematics curriculum for individual, small group, and remedial instruction to meet the needs of identified students or subgroups of students.
Evaluate student progress and the ability to meet courses standards in mathematical knowledge and skills.
내신 (teaching English grammar in Korean & Reading from G5 to middle & high schoolers for their school English tests & Korean SAT 수능)
Working hours: (12 hours /week)
Mon./Fri. 6:30 to 9:30
T./Th. 7:00 to 10:00
Pay: from 25,000~35,000 KRW hourly.
Descriptions

Experience teaching Korean grammar & Korean SAT 수능 English.
** If Saturday classes are open, you can be assigned with extra pay.
** During the summer, winter, and spring break intensives for local and international school students, we can have extra classes or adjusted academy schedule.
