It is very important to us that a candidate be a good fit for our community, be excited by both teaching and student growth, and be independently-driven. We seek individuals who are capable of leading their own lessons, adapting to curricular changes, and inspiring students from grades 1 to 5.
No particular previous experience is necessary, but you must be confident in your ability to teach the following subjects:
English Language (at the ES level)
Mathematics (at ES level)
You should have at least a Bachelor’s or equivalent degree. Some prior teaching experience is preferred but unnecessary for the right individual. Please have your degree, apostille, and documents ready for submission to the Ministry of Education. We prefer candidates who are already residing in Korea, but we’re open to overseas candidates if the fit is right. We prefer candidates that a fit for the long term as well.
About the Position:
The working hours will be five days per week - Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Lunch is provided on premises and the classroom teaching hours are around 20 per week.
Contract Details / Benefits:
Duration of contract: 1 year (renewable)
Salary: Negotiable based on experience
Working hours: Monday to Friday (8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)
Teaching hours: ~20 teaching hours/week; 60 minute classes
Paid vacation (total 8 weeks)
Severance pay (equivalent to a month’s salary) will be given after the completion of a one-year contract.
Medical insurance and national pension will be co-shared (50/50 split).
