CeREELS (cereels.com) is a newly established media company based in Seoul. Our mission is to combine original music, animation, and stories with cinematic flare to create short-form video content with breadth and depth for the global content market.
Job Details
We are looking for a driven media specialist with a passion for storytelling. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the creation of stories and stewarding their transformation from initial pitch into compelling and innovative short-form content. They will join our growing team of writers, animators, and hip-hop, pop and film score producers, and work closely with our production team in all pre-production and production stages of the creative pipeline.
Position: Story Producer (full-time with full benefits)
Location: In-house in our studio in Songsu-dong, Seoul
Employment period: ongoing
Duties
• Workshopping and pitching of original series ideas with creative leads
• Working with in-house and remote team members to develop ideas into production-ready series
• Providing visual referencing and research for series development
• Implementing successful strategies for storytelling within short-form media
• Providing timely written feedback on series in production
Requirements
• A degree in media production, theater arts, film/tv, or a related field such as literature or journalism
• Professional level English speaking and writing proficiency
• Relevant Korean working visa (F visa only) or Korean citizenship
