Job Description
Hanyang Elementary School is a reputable private elementary school located on Hanyang University campus in Seoul. We’re currently accepting applications for full-time teaching positions for the 2022-2023 academic year. We are eager to hire experienced and enthusiastic teachers to join our English Department.
Location: Google Map (Nearby Hanyang University Station, Subway Line 2)
Requirements and Qualifications:
Must be a native English speaker currently living in Korea
Must hold a B.A. degree (or higher) from an accredited institution
Must have previous experience teaching in Korea
TEFL, CELTA, or TESOL is considered desirable
Must hold an E2 or F visa
Medical checkup must be done prior to the start of the school year
Conditions and Benefits:
Working Hours: 8:30-4:30 Monday-Friday
Teaching Hours: 24 classes per week (40 minutes per class)
Class Size: Approximately 10 students per class
Level: Grades 1-6 Elementary students
Pay: 2,450,000 won per month
Housing Allowance: 450,000 won per month
Additional Benefits: Severance, National Pension, and National Health Insurance
Vacation: Summer and Winter vacation, according to the school calendar. There’s a two-week summer camp that is mandatory, but no winter camp.
