Job Description
Phileo International Academy is currently seeking Middle & High School Math and Science teachers who can speak fluent English.
Math subject includes Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus and AP Calculus AB
Science subject includes Physical Science, Life Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, AP Chemistry
1. School Description & Philosophy
Phileo International Academy (PIA) educates students based on Christian worldview with a goal to foster individuals with positive influences. We also aim to stimulate imaginative potential among our student through various educational approaches. We hope to cultivate mature Christian leaders who seek to achieve the best in any society. We follow California, U.S.A, curriculum, and use English as language of instructions.
2. Minimum Requirement & Duties
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in the related subject from English speaking countries
Effective classroom management skill
Passionate about teaching
High Moral Values and Professionalism
Fluency in English
Collaborate in curriculum development
Christian Faith
Work five days weekly (Monday-Friday, from 8:30 to 16:30)
Teach classes as assigned (Up to 24 class hours weekly)
3. Remuneration & Benefits
Annual salary negotiable: 30 ~34 million Korean Won depends on applicant’s experience and educational background
4 major public insurance (National Pension, National Health Insurance, Ministry of Employment & Labor, Korea Worker’s Compensation & Welfare Service)
Eligible severance pay after fulfilling 1-year contract
4. Contract Period
1 (one) year, and the contract may be extended or renewed upon evaluation
Starting Date: January 2022
