Job Description
Hello! Phileo International Academy (PIA) is looking for passionate and professional full-time Middle & High teachers! We are a Christian International school in Jukjeon, Yong-In.
Location: Jukjeon, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do
Starting date: January 10th, 2022
Current Openings:
Middle & High School
-English (subejcts include ESL, English Language Arts, English Literature)
-Science & Math
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university (preferably in the U.S)
• Majored in Education or in related subject of teaching
• Native English speaker or native fluency
• F4 or F6 holder/Korean citizenship
• Prior teaching experience
• Passion for education and love for children!
Considered a Plus:
• Christian
• Valid teaching credential (U.S preferred)
• International school teaching experience
Contract Details / Benefits:
• Duration of contract: 1 year (renewable)
• Yearly salary: 30~34 million Korean Won
• Working hours: Monday to Friday (8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)
• Teaching hours: up to 24 teaching hours/week
• Paid vacation (total 6 weeks) in addition to all national holidays
• Severance pay (equivalent to a month's salary) will be given after the completion of a one-year contract.
• Medical insurance and national pension will be co-shared (50/50 split).
