Job Description
Teach Kindergarten/Elementary or Elementary/Middle School at Herald School
Location: Sau-dong, Gimpo City, Gyeonggi-do (30-45 minutes from Seoul)
Direct hire - preference given to teachers already in Korea, but if you are abroad and have your documents ready to go, please contact us!
Morning/Afternoon or Afternoon/Evening shift - when applying, please say which one you'd prefer!
One-year contract with raise upon renewal
2.2 – 2.5 million won per month base pay (negotiable based on experience)
Student ages: Between 4 and 14 (Kindy+Elementary) or 7 and 17 (Elementary+Middle)
Class size: 1-11 students in a class
Vacation: 10 fixed days paid vacation + Korean national holidays
Housing: Furnished accommodation provided next to the school
One-way Airfare
Free snacks or meals throughout the week
Medical Insurance: 50% provided
Severance pay : always honored
*Due to the current Covid situation preference is given to teachers already in Korea, but applicants from abroad with their visa documents ready will also be considered*
Please note: Applicants MUST be native English speakers from the USA, Canada, Australia, NZ, UK, Ireland or South Africa with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS). Teaching experience/certificates are preferred but not necessary.
