Job Description
Gyeonggi Academy of Foreign Languages(GAFL), a high school for advanced foreign language learners, is looking for an IBDP DPC teacher who is passionate to guide future global leaders.
1. Duties and Responsibilities
IBDP overall works related to IB curriculum (6 subject groups, 3 core requirements)
IB classes and additional IB classes
Scheduling IB calendar
IB workshops
Manage IB exams (including semester exams and DP2 final exams)
IB predicted score management
Events related to IB curriculum (including Subject Conference, class observations etc):
Participating in international relationship with IB schools
Manage IB staff meeting
2. Working condition
Starting date: March 1, 2022
Contract duration: Yearly renewable contract:
Teaching hours: 6~10 hours a week
Working hours: 07:40~16:30 (5 days in a week)
Monthly salary: Negotiable, it may vary according to experience
Housing fee: KRW 500,000 provided (monthly)
3. Hiring qualifications
At least 1 year of DPC experience and professional teaching experience
A bachelor’s degree in the subject area (a master’s degree would be an advantage)
English native speaker level (Native speaker preferred)
Valid teaching certificate from an accredited teacher education program (preferred)
Familiarity with a collaborative working environment
F4/F6 visa preferred
