Position: English Teacher
Start date: March 01, 2022
Starting salary: 2.3 ~ 2.5 million won - You will have opportunities to earn extra money during school hours.
Hours: 7:30 am – 4 pm (5 pm once a week - paid extra)
An exciting opportunity to join the English department at an elite private high school in Seoul. The role includes 22 teaching hours of conversation classes in addition to curriculum development and preparing students for studying abroad. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, passionate teacher who is looking for the opportunity to develop themselves professionally as there is a lot of autonomy in the structure of the curriculum and how lessons are taught.
Benefits:
Housing allowance (500k per month)
Minimum 21 days vacation - This is only the contractual minimum. In reality, it works out as much more.
4 exam periods per year during which you will work half days.
Standard insurance, severance, and pension
No desk warming! When school is not in session, neither are we!
Requirements:
Native Level English speaker
E-2 or F visa
Bachelor’s Degree
A minimum of 1 year of English teaching experience
TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certification preferred
Must currently be in Korea
