Job Description
SSI Art & Design is a Congnia accredited school located in the Seocho area of Seoul and we are looking to add teachers to our faculty for the 2022-2023 school year. Please send your resume with picture to email.
Positions Available
-English Teacher(High School Lit & Comp)
-Student Counselor
Requirements
-At least a Bachelor’s degree in the related field.
-Must reside in Korea with a F-visa
-Familiarity with US middle and/or high school curriculum
-Experience in teaching in a classroom setting
-Ability to adapt to changes associated with young/growing school environment
-Organization and communication skills
Responsibilities
-Plan and deliver effective instruction that meet the student and school expectations
-Incorporate learning material necessary to promote understanding and learning
-Prepare effective tools to measure student learning and progress
-Keep and manage student records
-Maintain a good line of communication with students, faculty and administration
-Evaluate curriculum to adjust and improve to meet student needs
-Participate in school events
-Sponsor after school activities
-Professional behavior is expected in and out of school
General Terms
-Work hours are from 8 am to 4 pm
-Approximately 20 teaching hours per week
-1 year contact
-All required insurance and pension coverages
-8 weeks paid vacation
