Job Description
Newton Talented Youth Academy is a newly opening International Educational Institute with a campus in Gangnam, specifically the Nonhyeon-dong area. Newton will offer a full American curriculum and will be led by an experienced and highly qualified team. We have a beautiful campus in the heart of Gangnam and we anticipate that this will quickly become a leading educational institute in Korea.
We are seeking qualified candidates for GRADE 6-10 PHYSICAL EDUCATION for the 2023-2024 Academic Year.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to work well with students, parents, teachers, and administrative staff
Knowledge of Physical Education principles and ability to conduct engaging lessons in this domain.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent human relations skills
Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with incorporating technology in the classroom
Teaching license
Experience teaching PE
Additional details include:
Starting salary 2.5 - 3.3 million won/month
Position will start ASAP (can be flexible) and contract is for 1 year
This is a part- time position: 16 classes/week (45 mins each) maximum + some additional duties (will discuss)
Classes will be held from roughly 9:00AM until 2:00PM
As this is a new school, the class sizes will be less than 10 students
