Gyeonggi Academy of Foreign Languages(GAFL), a high school for advanced foreign language learners, is looking for an IBDP Economics teacher passionate about guiding future global leaders. Visit: www.gafl.hs.kr
1. Duties and Responsibilities
Teaching IBDP Chemistry and organizing classes
Attending teacher meetings and relevant meetings
Supporting and organizing extracurricular activities of students in school
Creating exam materials and supervising examinations
Supporting student life, such as proctoring for self-study
Performing tasks as instructed by the principal
Supporting the ethos and mission of the school
2. Working condition
Starting date: March 1, 2025 ~ February 28, 2026
Contract duration: Yearly renewable contract
Teaching hours: 16~20 hours (5days in a week)
Working hours: 07:40~16:30
Monthly salary: KRW 2.8 million~4.0 million
(negotiable; it may vary according to experience)
Housing fee: KRW 500,000 provided (monthly)
3. Hiring qualifications
At least one year of professional teaching experience at the specific grade level and subject area of our vacancy in an accredited high school setting
A bachelor’s degree in the subject area (a master’s degree would be an advantage)
English native speaker level (Native speaker preferred)
Valid teaching certificate from an accredited teacher education program (preferred)
Familiarity with current teaching materials and methodologies, as well as evidence of recent professional development
Familiarity with a collaborative working environment
F4/F6 visa preferred
4. Hiring process

An interview including a demonstration lecture
Individual Notification of the successful candidate
