Newton Academy
is a recognized educational institute located in the heart of Gangnamg (Nonhyeon-dong). As a college-preparatory program following an American curriculum (i.e. AP) we are dedicated to fostering academic excellence and preparing students for admission to top universities worldwide.
Our Growth Story
Over the past 2.5 years, Newton Academy has experienced remarkable growth, tripling in student enrollment. We recently celebrated the opening of our second elementary school campus in January 2025. We are an accredited institution from Cognia and Accreditation International. Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking teachers who are enthusiastic about fostering academic curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and global awareness.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in the subject area of application, Education, or a related field.
Experience: Demonstrated commitment to excellence in instruction for grades 6–12.
AP Capability: Ability to teach AP-level courses in your subject area (highly preferred)
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, parents, colleagues, and administration team.
Citizenship: Eligible citizenship from the USA, Korea, Canada, UK, Australia, or New Zealand.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in your subject field or Education.
Valid teaching license or certification.
Experience incorporating educational technology and interactive learning strategies.
Job Details & Benefits
Starting Salary: Commensurate with experience.
Position Start Date: August 1st, 2026.
Work Hours: 8:40 AM – 4:40 PM.
Teaching Load: Up to 25 teaching hours per week, plus additional responsibilities (details will be discussed during interview).
