Job Description
SSI Art & Design is a Congnia accredited institution located in the Seocho area of Seoul and we are looking to add new teachers to our staff to meet our growing needs for the upcoming school year in August.
Positions Available
High School English Teacher (not ESL, ELL)
Requirements
-At least a Bachelor’s degree in the related field.
-Must reside in Korea with a F-visa
-Familiarity with US school curriculum
-Experience in teaching in a classroom setting
-Ability to adapt to changes associated with growing school environment
-Organization and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities
Prepare and teach appropriate class material
Prepare and conduct proper assessments
Keep and manage student records(homework, exams, attendence, etc)
Maintain a good line of communication with students, faculty and administration
Evaluate curriculum to adjust and improve to meet student needs
Participate in school events
Professional behavior in and out of school
General Terms
-Work hours are from 8 am to 4 pm
-1 year contact
-All required insurance and pension coverages
-8 weeks paid vacation
