1. About the Role
Lausanne Collegiate Incheon is hiring English Teachers for our Middle and High School divisions.
Our students prepare for admission to top universities in North America and beyond. As an English teacher, you will deliver College Board–aligned instruction where applicable, build deep subject mastery alongside exam readiness, and partner with the College Counseling team on course placement and student trajectories. These are full-time positions.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver a standards-aligned Social Studies curriculum across Middle and High School, following College Board AP frameworks where applicable
Foster historical thinking, source and document analysis, geographic literacy, and civic understanding
Guide students in evidence-based argumentation and structured discussion of historical and social issues
Prepare students for AP exams while maintaining rigorous, conceptual subject learning
Design formative and summative assessments; track and report student progress each term
Coordinate with the College Counseling team on course placement and student readiness
Communicate progress to parents in clear and accessible terms (translation support available)
Required Qualifications
Visa / nationality: Applicant must hold an E2 or F-series visa (F-2, F-4, F-5, F-6, etc.) OR be a Korean national / overseas Korean (gyopo) eligible to work in Korea without sponsorship.
Bachelor's degree in the subject area or a closely related field (Master's preferred)
Minimum 2 years of middle and/or high school classroom experience teaching the relevant subject
Native or near-native English fluency
Demonstrated ability to teach analytical reading and to develop students' writing
Strong subject-matter expertise and the ability to convey rigor accessibly
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, colleagues, and parents
Preferred Qualifications
Valid teaching license or certification (elementary level preferred).
Prior experience in an international or English-immersion school setting.
Prior AP teaching experience with documented student outcomes
Familiarity with the California Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and NGSS.
Conversational Korean (helpful for parent communication, not required).
2. Contract Period
1 year, renewable (Long-term employment available upon mutual agreement)
3. Work Conditions
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 ~ 17:30 (including lunch break)
Location: Songdo International City Global Campus, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, South Korea
4. Compensation & Benefits
Annual Salary
Negotiable based on experience and qualifications
