1. About the Role
Lausanne Collegiate Incheon is hiring a Mathematics teacher for our High School divisions. The primary responsibility is teaching the following mathematics courses:
Algebra 2
Precalculus
AP Calculus AB / BC
SAT Math
Our students prepare for admission to top universities in North America and beyond. As a Mathematics teacher, you will deliver College Board–aligned instruction, build deep subject mastery alongside exam readiness, and partner with the College Counseling team on course placement and student trajectories. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver curriculum for Algebra 2, Precalculus, AP Calculus AB & BC, and SAT Math, following College Board frameworks where applicable
Prepare students for AP exams while maintaining rigorous, conceptual subject learning
Design formative and summative assessments; track and report student progress each term
Coordinate with the College Counseling team on course placement and student readiness
Communicate progress to parents in clear and accessible terms (translation support available)
Contribute to program review, resource selection, and curriculum development
Required Qualifications
Visa / nationality: Applicant must hold an F-series visa (F-2, F-4, F-5, F-6, etc.) OR be a Korean national / overseas Korean (gyopo) eligible to work in Korea without sponsorship.
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a closely related field (Master's preferred)
Valid teaching license or certification
Minimum 2 years of high school classroom experience teaching mathematics
Native or near-native English fluency
Demonstrated ability to teach to AP standards and prepare students for AP exams
Strong subject-matter expertise and the ability to convey rigor accessibly
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, colleagues, and parents
Preferred Qualifications
Prior AP teaching experience with documented student outcomes
College Board AP training (AP Summer Institute or equivalent)
Experience in international school settings or multicultural environments
Conversational Korean (helpful for parent communication; not required)
2. Contract Period
1 year, renewable (Long-term employment available upon mutual agreement)
3. Work Conditions
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 ~ 17:30 (including lunch break)
Location: Songdo International City Global Campus, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, South Korea
4. Compensation & Benefits
Annual Salary
Negotiable based on experience and qualifications
