Position Name: Full-Time Subject Teacher – Fall Semester 2026
Openings:

Main Responsibilities:
Teach American curriculum to students in English and align with and support the School’s guiding principles.
Maintain clear and professional communication with faculty to ensure collaboration, alignment on curriculum goals, and effective teamwork within the school.
Plan and implement creative, student-focused curricula that prioritize active learning.
Develop and manage academic resources, including, but not limited to, student files, assessments, and curriculum materials.
Contribute thoughtful and relevant feedback on the School’s programs and curriculum for continuous improvement.
Conduct individual parent-teacher conferences once a semester to discuss student behavior, academic progress, and areas for improvement.
Maintain regular informal communication with parents as needed, ensuring transparency and consistency in addressing student-related concerns.
Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a subject-related field from a recognized institute of higher education.
Native or near-native fluency in English – all classroom instruction and facilitation will be in English.
At least one year of full-time teaching experience in an accredited secondary school setting.
Preferred:
Possession of a valid teaching certification.
Demonstrated experience with Understanding by Design (UbD) framework.
Proficiency in utilizing different school information systems.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a subject-related field.
Alignment with a Christian faith background.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean.
Working Conditions:
Student Type: G4-G11
Working Hours: 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
Teaching Hours: Max of 25 contact hours weekly, which includes teaching, homeroom, study hall, and other school responsibilities.
Class Time: 85-minute classes.
Class Size: 16-20 students.
Teacher Training: Provided.
Salary: Discussed during the interview.
